Arthur Rascon brings over two decades of experience in operational leadership and a proven track record of driving innovation and commercialization in the medical device industry. Prior to joining StimAire, Arthur Rascon served as the Chief Executive Officer at Valencia Technologies Corporation, where he led the company’s neuromodulation therapies. He has extensive experience in medical product development, manufacturing process optimization and operational management.

Tarek Makansi, PhD Electrical Engineering is StimAire’s founder and the inventor of the fundamental technology that enables the injectability of a neurostimulator activated by a magnetic field. Earlier, Tarek founded Tempronics, which was sold to a Fortune 500 company. Prior to that, Tarek had a 20-year career at IBM, including a role as Director of Worldwide Product Strategy for the multi-billion-dollar data storage unit.

Dan Root, MD co-developed the user interface and the titration procedure for the StimAire neuromodulator for treating Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Dan is the founder of Oregon Sleep Associates, a sleep medicine facility and sleep laboratory in Portland, Oregon. His experience treating thousands of OSA patients led him to recognize key gaps in the treatment market, which he hopes to close with StimAire. Dan also founded a company hosting an online store for sleep apnea patients which was sold in 2017.
